1st day of class

In class Brother Williams said a quote that went like this, "People tend to learn deeply when they have questions that are important, intriguing, and just plain beautiful." I do not remember who said this quote, but it really stood out to me. When asking a question on any aspect of life the question has to be thought out.
To me this quote means that questions that I ask should come from the heart and I need to have the desire to learn. We have all heard the quote, "There are no stupid questions". I to some extent I believe this, but sometimes I hear questions asked that should just not be asked. If there is the true desire to learn the questions that are asked will have some meaning. I looked up question in the dictionary and the definition that stood out to me the most was, "a problem for discussion or under discussion; a matter for investigation." A question should not be asked to just get one answer, but instead it should be asked to cause a discussion.
